At PayzoBill, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you no longer wish to use PayzoBill, you can delete your account and all associated data. This document explains how you can request account deletion and what happens to your data after deletion.
1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account using either of the two methods below.
Method A: Delete Directly in the Mobile App (Recommended)
If you still have the PayzoBill App installed on your device:
- Open the PayzoBill App.
- Go to the Settings or Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap on Account Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Read the warning prompt carefully.
- Confirm your choice by entering your password or performing the authentication check.
- Click Confirm Delete. Your account will be immediately queued for deletion.
Method B: Submit a Deletion Request via Email or WhatsApp
If you have uninstalled the App or are unable to log in, you can request account deletion by contacting us:

Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email/Phone] - Information to Include: Please send the request from the email address or phone number associated with your PayzoBill account. Include your registered business name or phone number for verification purposes.
- Processing Time: Manual requests are processed within 7 business days after verification of ownership.
2. What Data is Deleted?
Upon confirming your account deletion request, the following information is permanently removed from our databases:
- Account Credentials: Your authentication record (email, password hashes, external login links managed via Supabase/Firebase Auth).
- Business Profile: Your saved business name, business address, contact details, GSTIN/VAT, and custom logos.
- Cloud Sync Data: Any transaction, invoice, or client details synced to our cloud servers.
- Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens linked to your device for receiving notifications.
3. What Data is Retained?
We only retain data that is strictly required for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons:
- Local Data on Your Device: Account deletion from our servers does not delete the local database stored on your physical phone (SQLite). To remove this local data, you must Uninstall/Delete the App from your device.
- Transactional Logs: If you made payments or purchased premium subscriptions, we must retain transaction records (payment ID, date, amount) for accounting, audit, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Aggregated/Anonymized Data: Diagnostic logs or analytical events (e.g., aggregate usage charts) that cannot identify you or your business may be retained for system improvement.
4. Reversing Account Deletion
WARNING: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your templates, business data, or transaction logs. If you wish to use PayzoBill again in the future, you will need to register for a new account.
